Kim Kardashian West Visits The Scholars Program at the DC Jail

The Prisons and Justice Initiative was incredibly excited to welcome Ms. Kardashian West to the DC Jail on July 23, 2019. Shooting for her upcoming documentary on Oxygen, Kim shared her journey to becoming a criminal justice reform advocate during our weekly Lecture Series. She also took the time to learn more about the Scholar Program directly from our students, later tweeting “All prisons need programs like this…It’s changing lives!”
