In addition to a full schedule of vibrant public and scholarly events on the Georgetown campus, the
Prisons and Justice Initiative has become a national leader in the areas of higher education for incarcerated people, education and professional training for returning citizens, support for children and families of the incarcerated, and exonerations after wrongful convictions. As we continue to expand, we will develop additional programs and enhance our existing endeavors.
