Ellie Sims

Program Associate

Ellie Sims is a Georgetown sophomore from Arizona studying government and justice and peace studies. In Phoenix, Ellie was heavily involved with community organizing surrounding immigration conditions, humanitarian border aid, voting rights, and intercommunity dialogue. She served as a community organizing intern for Arizona’s democratic electoral campaign, and is a published author for the ACLU focusing on educational equity and the involvement of police on inner city school campuses. In her free time, Ellie enjoys baking, music, journaling, and art.
