Alyssa Schmidt

Alyssa, originally from New Jersey, is majoring in Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG) and minoring in Spanish Language at American University. She serves as an education advocate at the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School for adult learners. She is also a member of the Free Mind’s letter writing circle where she writes letters to incarcerated D.C. natives. In Alyssa’s free time, she enjoys swimming and reading.
