Tyler Jackson

Tyler Jackson has been advocating for others since his sophomore year of high school. He has spoken to both D.C councilmembers and Supreme Court judges about proposed legislation that would protect the rights of LGBTQ-identifying individuals of color in D.C.
Jackson earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Barry University in 2021. After graduating, he spent time working in both security and education. Jackson joined the program to develop his skillset in advocacy and to provide for his wife and daughters. He is particularly interested in studying immigration law and juvenile law.
Jackson is highly proficient across Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud-based file management systems, with experience in document drafting, data tracking, scheduling, and digital record keeping. He is also skilled in virtual meeting tools, online research databases, and case management systems, and is a quick learner who adapts efficiently to new technology.
In his free time, Jackson loves to read, write, and watch documentaries. He also enjoys watching and playing football and basketball.
