Eleanor Haney

Eleanor “Nell” Haney is a senior at Georgetown University double majoring in Economics and Government. Throughout her time at Georgetown, she has participated in the 2021 Making an Exoneree cohort and volunteers as a GED tutor at a local jail in Arlington.  In addition, she works as a research assistant with the Massive Data Institute through the McCourt School of Public Policy on supreme court ideology. She is the first recipient of the Robert Katzmann Fellowship and works as the teaching assistant for the 2022 cohort of Making an Exoneree. After graduating, Eleanor plans on attending law school and working as a public defender to advocate for indigent and disadvantaged members of society.
